Pig Farm

The group carries out the general breeding work of the swine farm, the various feeding experiments, and helps to carry out reproductive and genetic experiments. Our pig farm can house 140 sows and 6 boars, the maternity has 62 stalls for sows and piglets. There is an artificial insemination station at the farm. The farm can accommodate 420 animals for weaning and 720 animals for fattening.

The farm is equipped with a self-feeding technology and slurry management system. Animals are housed in groups or individually, which is suitable for conducting various feeding experiments.
