György Borka PhD

Agricultural Engineer, graduated from the Agricultural University of Gödöllő (now Szent István University), Faculty of Agricultural Sciences (specialization: animal breeding). He got his PhD in 1998 at the ETH Zurich Institute of Livestock Sciences (ETH), Institut für Nutztierwissenschaften (INW), Zürich, Diss. ETH Nr 12830). His main areas of research are the determination of the animal breeding related  atmospheric environmental load (ammonia and greenhouse gas emissions) and investigation the possibilities of reducing as well as studying the opportunities for environmentally and animal-friendly livestock technologies in livestock farming.
