Doing fundamental and applied research in the field of nutrition of livestock species. Research and Development (R+D) activity is conducted in close cooperation with productive agricultural companies. Making nutrition physiological and microbiological analysis to evaluate the biological background of the production. A test farm (swine, sheep and poultry feeding trials), a metabolic stable, an animal experimental unit, an operating room, and well-developed analytical labs with instruments are available to conduct the different trials.

Research of production of products of animal origin and the physiological and biochemical processes of animal feeding. Investigation of digestion characteristics of farm animals, and the intermediary metabolism and the regulation of the main nutrients.
They engage in practical nutritional issues of livestock species. Updating of nutrient requirements of animal species in the daily routine. Analyzes of harmful organisms in the fodder, and such materials, which favorably affect the animal metabolism.
